chopstick plate
The middle layer of a chopstick plate consists of a thick solid wood layer glued together from thin ceiba sticks. The poplar blocking veneers are glued onto this on both sides at right angles to the grain of the middle layer.
The structure can be 3-ply or 5-ply.
