poplar plywood

Poplar plywood is a light, robust and versatile wood material that consists of several layers of thin poplar veneers that are glued together in different directions. This layered construction gives poplar plywood a high degree of stability and strength while keeping its weight low. Its light, even surface and good machinability make it particularly popular in furniture production, interior design and decorative applications.

Slightly poorer qualities are used in the packaging industry.

For special needs the poplar plywood is also available in fire-retardant Bs2,d0.
